Whether you’re an experienced player or a newbie, leveling guides are useful for everyone. They show you more than a simple list of quests or how to get from point A to point B. Leveling guides are complete strategies to walk you through each rank, from 1 to 40. They will show you the most optimized leveling paths, tell you where to get quest items so you don’t have to wander around and waste time. Most of them also have a list of quests you should skip at all costs, because they take too much of your time or have little or no worthy rewards — sometimes even both. While on the other hand, you will always know which quests, public quests and quest chains with awesome rewards for your career and high experience yields you should never skip.

I’m a Warhammer Online player every since early beta. I leveled up nearly all careers at least to rank 20 and experienced a lot in this game. I used to play World of Warcraft as well, and dabbled a bit into Guild Wars, Eve Online and a couple of other MMOs.

I love leveling up with leveling guides! Since I don’t have all the time in the world to level up slowly like everyone else, I always check out the available leveling guides when I think about buying a new game. Some might consider it cheating or spoiling the game, but I don’t: most of the MMO games are just trying to keep you from reaching the endgame fast to sell more subscriptions, so why not get there as soon as possible? That’s always where the fun part begins, not the grinding or endless questing but having fun and doing what you enjoy.

I can’t imagine leveling up without a guide anymore, and I hope I can share some of my insight and help you choose from all the available guides out there.
